Bahrain Track Guide in F1 24

Welcome to a new blog article where we delve into a Bahrain Track Guide in F1 24.

Today, we kick off with Circuit Guides for the 25 tracks featured on F1 24.

These tutorials are crafted by Esports Driver and Coach ADT Daniele Haddad, in collaboration with Kevin Salerno.

This is a hot-lap analysis designed to help you better understand a particular circuit: the braking points, apexes, reference markers, where and how much to accelerate...

In this way, you'll have a clearer idea of how to tackle a track on F1 24.

For the first episode of this series, let's explore one of the most beautiful desert cathedrals in Motorsport: the Sakhir circuit, Bahrain.

Before diving into the Bahrain Track Guide in F1 24, here are a few historical notes.

Informazioni sul Circuito

Inaugurated in 2004 with the first Bahrain Grand Prix of F1, the Sakhir circuit is a masterpiece by Hermann Tilke.

The complex offers several layouts, three of which have been used by Formula 1: the Endurance layout in 2010, the fast and short Outer layout in 2020, and the Grand Prix layout in all other years except 2010.

Focusing on the F1 layout, the Grand Prix, it stretches for 5,412 meters and comprises 15 corners.

It's a fairly complete circuit, characterized by a predominance of slow corners followed by long straights, creating a "stop and go" pattern.

Besides being part of the Formula 1 calendar, the Sakhir circuit also hosts the final event of the World Endurance Championship (WEC), the 8 Hours of Bahrain.

Now, let's begin the Bahrain Track Guide in F1 24.

Turn 1-2-3: Michael Schumacher

On the pit straight, speeds reach up to 325 km/h before braking for Turn 1.

Brake just before the 100-meter mark, downshifting to third gear.

Be careful not to lock up either the front or rear wheels, depending on your brake balance setup.

Turn 4:

With DRS open, prepare for Turn 4.

This turn should be approached from the outside of the track to minimize steering angle and maximize cornering speed, using the entire track on exit.

Turn 5-6-7:

Entering the second sector, characterized by a demanding and fast left-right-left sequence.

It's crucial to be aggressive in the first left turn to set up well for the following two hairpins.

Turn 8:

Both hairpins are taken in third gear.

In this one, move from the outer curb to the apex, exiting with maximum traction.

Turn 9-10:

The second hairpin is particularly challenging.

It requires combined braking and steering, and it's easy to lock the wheels.

Despite the difficulties, we managed to get good traction on this lap.

Turn 11-12:

Prepare for a very complex turn at the end of the DRS straight.

We take it in fifth gear, although some prefer fourth.

It's a subjective choice.

Continue at full throttle through the right-hand turn before approaching the penultimate corner of the circuit.

Turn 13:

Here, downshift to fifth gear, trying to maintain minimum speed for a good exit.

Turn 14-15:

Approaching the final stretch leading to the last corner of Bahrain.

From eighth gear, downshift to fourth, taking a good line from the inside and using the outer curb.

We conclude the lap in Bahrain with a time of 1:25.636.
