Welcome to a new blog post where we delve into a Australia Track Guide in F1 24.
Today, we continue with the Track Guides for the 25 tracks available on F1 24.
These tutorials are created by Esports Driver and Coach ADT Daniele Haddad, in collaboration with Kevin Salerno.
It's a hot-lap analysis aimed at helping you get to know a specific circuit better: the braking points, apexes, reference points, where and how much to throttle...
This way, you'll have a clearer idea of how to tackle a track on F1 24.
For this episode, let's discover the unique Albert Park track.
Before we begin the Australia Track Guide in F1 24, here's a brief historical note.

The semi-permanent street circuit in Melbourne, known for hosting Formula 1 since 1996, actually has roots dating back to the 1950s, a fact not widely known among enthusiasts.
Between 1953 and 1958, the circuit had a slightly different layout and hosted Formula Libre races.
After a period of inactivity, motorsport returned to prominence in 1996 with the top open-wheel category.
Following modernization and speed enhancements in 2021, the circuit now measures 5280 meters and includes 16 turns.
In addition to Formula 1, Albert Park also hosts Formula 2, Formula 3, and the Supercars Championship races.
Now, let’s start with the Australia Circuit Guide on F1 24.

Turn 1-2: Brabham-Jones
As soon as we exit the pits, we're in fifth gear, then sixth, with the DRS open.
Quickly shift up to seventh and eighth gear as we prepare for the first corner.
Pay close attention here: brake around the 100-meter mark and drop to fifth gear.
It's important to attack the first curb and exit at the limit, respecting the track limits.
Shift up to sixth and then seventh gear, encountering another DRS zone before reaching a fairly slow corner.

Turn 3-4-5: Whiteford
Brake again at the 100-meter mark, downshifting to third gear.
It's crucial to be aggressive on the throttle but careful to avoid losing traction.

Shift up to third and then fourth gear, tackling a left-hander almost at full speed.

With this full-throttle right-hander, you close out T1.

Turn 6-7-8:
Approach a very fast corner, downshifting from seventh to sixth gear with a light touch on the brakes, then quickly accelerate in anticipation of the long straight ahead.
Here, DRS will be crucial for overtaking.
This year, unlike previous years, there is no longer a chicane interrupting the straight.

Turn 11-12: Waite
The straight ends with this tricky left-right chicane that we tackle without braking.

A clean yet aggressive steering input is needed.

Turn 13: Ascari
We then reach the last sector, downshifting to fourth gear to tackle a right-hand corner.

Turn 14: Stewart
Prepare for the final two corners here.

Turn 15: Prost
Be careful with the last two corners, as it's easy to lose traction, especially on the exit of the penultimate corner.
Downshift to third gear, accelerate quickly, and shift up to fourth.

Turn 16:
It's important not to let the car lag, maintaining a good rhythm.
Shift up to fifth gear, use the curb, and fight a bit with understeer in the final corner.
The lap concludes with a time of 1:14.191.
