3 Key Pillars to Boost Your Skills in F1 Videogame
Mattia from ADT here.
Today, I'm not here to tell you what you need to do, but rather, I'm dropping you this email to ask for THREE THINGS that you must always uphold to boost your performance in F1 and align with the ADT Mindset.
1. Respect for Your Passion:
No excuses.
I don’t care that F1 is a videogame.
Virtual F1 is first and foremost a PASSION.
And nobody has the right to trample on what sparks deep emotions in you.
If you're reading these words, it's likely you share a passion for F1.
So, if anyone ever tells you, “Cut it out, it’s just a game!”, clap back by saying it’s your passion!
Football is a game too (unless you're a pro).
So are chess and playing the guitar.
But first and foremost, they are PASSIONS, and no one has the right to judge your passion for F1.
Personally, when I race in F1, I feel an incredible mix of emotions.
Adrenaline, the drive to push beyond limits, to nose my car ahead of the competition…
And if I feel emotions, I will defend till the death the passion that ignites them.
You should too!
2. Dedication
Let me be upfront with you.
There's no magic wand that will improve your F1 skills in minutes.
Racing well in F1 is anything but simple (talk about an understatement!).
It requires a lengthy period of mastering the basics of driving, setups, and mindset.
If you think you can solve all your problems in F1 with a setup tweak or a magic trick, then you're way off track.
I'm not saying this to dishearten you, but to warn you and to set your expectations.
It's going to be a long and hard journey filled with both thrills and frustrations, highs and lows.
But from today onwards, you are an ADT Warrior, and ADT warriors never, ever give up!
Train with consistency, passion, and DEDICATION.
Take your F1 training sessions seriously, and when you virtually lower that visor, remember, you are no longer a family man, an accountant, a student, an office worker... no, you are a DRIVER.
PERIOD.
And drivers give 200%.
So, don't give up and “Trust the Process!”
3. Winning Mentality
From now on, you must aim for just one thing: to reach the highest difficulty level in F1 and win races.
Always aim for the top, never EVER settle.
Be happy with your progress, but never be satisfied.
You need to be a hungry lion, giving everything to achieve your goal, your prey.
And above all, develop a winning mindset!
At the start of a race, instead of thinking, “Oh dear, if I lose my braking point now, I'll ruin my race at turn 1!”, start telling yourself: “Come on, this is going to be great, I’m prepared and confident!”
Start talking to your inner self.
Begin to internalize a champion’s mindset, a real winning attitude! If you want to improve in F1, if you want to become a true King of the Virtual F1 Savanna...
…simply keep following us and start applying the THREE points I’ve outlined above.
